Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of clinical experience in an acute care setting; critical care, medical/surgical or ED nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provides concurrent and retrospective review of inpatient medical records to evaluate utilization and documentation of acute care services.
• Aim to support appropriate physician documentation reflecting severity of illness and risk of mortality and ensure compliant reimbursement.
