Job summary

Appone is seeking an RN Charge Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the nursing staff and CNAs. This role requires maintaining compliance with federal and state standards and guiding the team through nightly shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active RN license in this state.
• Minimum nursing degree from an accredited program or college.
• Previous charge nurse experience in a long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities:

The RN Charge Nurse is responsible to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the Nursing Staff and the CNAs in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility.

Key Qualifications:

• Must have, at a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.
• Previous RN Charge Nurse experience in a long-term care community is preferred.
