Job summary

HMR Veteran's Services is seeking an RN Charge Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and oversee day-to-day nursing activities of the staff and CNAs.

The role requires a Nursing Degree and a current RN license in the state, with prior long-term care charge nurse experience preferred. Various shifts are available across full-time and part-time roles, with an equal opportunity employer statement included.

Qualifications

• Must have a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license to practice in this state.
• Prior RN Charge Nurse experience in a long-term care community is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Coordinate shifts and support for nursing team to maintain quality resident care.

Responsibilities:

The RN Charge Nurse is responsible to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the Nursing Staff and the CNAs in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility.

Key Qualifications:

• Must have, at a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.
• Previous RN Charge Nurse experience in a long-term care community is preferred.
