Job summary

HMR Veteran's Services in Walterboro, SC is seeking a compassionate RN Charge Nurse to provide direct nursing care and supervise the nursing staff and CNAs in a long-term care setting.

The role requires a Nursing Degree and an active RN license in South Carolina; prior charge nurse experience is preferred. Shifts vary; full-time and/or part-time options may be available.

Qualifications

• Must have a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the Nursing Staff and CNAs in accordance with standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

The RN Charge Nurse is responsible to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the Nursing Staff and the CNAs in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility.

Key Qualifications:

• Must have, at a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.
• Previous RN Charge Nurse experience in a long-term care community is preferred.
