Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a full-timeRegistered Nurse to join the Nursing department. The role involves direct patient care, assessments, and collaboration with physicians to develop and update care plans.

You will participate in discharge planning and quality improvement activities while maintaining accurate patient records. On-call 1-2 nights weekly and one weekend per month, with holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• RN license issued in the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months unless exempt.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manages caseloads in specialty areas and assesses patients on admission.
• Establishes care plans based on physician orders and patient needs.
• Delivers direct patient care and adjusts nursing processes as needed.
• Documents visit assessments, orders, and care plans accurately and promptly.
• Communicates with physicians and healthcare team to update the plan of care.
• Supports discharge planning and continuity of care after discharge.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and chart audits.
• Maintains accurate clinical and patient records per guidelines.
