Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in Brick Township, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team, using evidence-based practices to achieve outcomes in a busy hospital setting.

You will coordinate care, document effectively, and participate in ongoing education; NJ license, BLS/CPR within 60 days, BSN in progress, and telemetry a plus, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• BSN in progress or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• At least 6 months nursing experience or active participation in new grad nurse residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and support services.
• Document patient status and care plans and ensure safety.
• Demonstrate evidence-based nursing practice and maintain competencies.
