Job summary
Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care across med/surg/Telemetry units.
The ideal candidate has an NJ nursing license, BLS/CPR, and 6+ months of experience or participation in HMH Nurse Residency; BSN in progress is preferred. Home visits and patient education support are involved.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma of Nursing required.
- BSN in progress or willing to obtain within 3 years of hire.
- Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required.
- BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
- Minimum six months nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
- 3 years med/surg or Telemetry experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care per current evidence-based guidelines.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and family.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
- Document care and interventions accurately.
- Administer medications safely with bar-coding.
- Support patient and family education and discharge planning.
