Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for a specific patient population, expanding knowledge and skills while delivering direct care as part of a collaborative team.

The role involves delegation, validation and coordination of patient care among nursing peers, physicians and support services to ensure high-quality outcomes and safe, effective care on the unit.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• At least 6 months of nursing experience or active participation in our new grad nurse residency program.
• Telemetry certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Delegate, validate, evaluate and coordinate care with other caregivers.
