Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to deliver evidence-based patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires an active NJ RN license, BLS/CPR within 60 days of hire, and at least 6 months of nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency program. Telemetry ACLS is preferred, with a BSN in progress or planned within 3 years.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum of 6 months nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program.
• Telemetry certification with ACLS preferred.
• BSN in progress and/or willingness to obtain within 3 years of hire.
• Strong teamwork and patient-centered care focus are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based policies and standards to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, and the health care team about status and care plans.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Document care at the point of care and update assessments and plans accordingly.
• Provide patient and family education to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
• Coordinate safe discharge planning and transitions of care.
