Ciena Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise and coordinate resident care across shifts in Michigan facilities. The RN will assess and plan care, direct licensed and non-licensed staff, and ensure safety and quality in line with state and federal standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care.
• Current RN license to practice.
• CPR certification (or within 90 days of employment) is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, CNAs, and other staff delivering direct care.
• Plans and directs work aligning with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Creates work assignments and adjusts for staffing levels and safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Oversees unit operations in absence of higher management.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with policies and laws.
