Job summary

Laurels of Mt. Pleasant is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee resident care on assigned shifts in compliance with state and federal standards.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans, while leading LPNs, CNAs, and other team members to ensure quality and safety. Join our Michigan facility for competitive pay and benefits, including medical/dental/vision, 401K, life insurance, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• RN license and CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1–2 years nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute care preferred.
• On-site RN role with supervision responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, CNAs, and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work aligned with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff.
• Oversees unit operations during absence of higher-level management.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and laws.
