The Laurels of Carson City in Carson City, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee resident care on assigned shifts within a long-term care setting. You will supervise licensed practical nurses, CNAs, and other care staff, coordinating care plans and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises LPNs, Medication Aides, CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities.
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety.
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed.
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff.
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns.
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management.
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
