Job summary

The Laurels of Coldwater is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) to oversee resident care on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards. The RN assesses, plans, and evaluates care plans while guiding LPNs, CNAs, and other team members to maintain quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-1 years of nursing experience in long-term or sub-acute preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises LPNs, Medication Aides, CNAs/STNAs and other staff providing direct care
• Plans, assigns, and directs work in alignment with resident needs and staff capabilities
• Prepares work assignments, adjusting for staffing levels and resident safety
• Receives staffing-related calls and arranges replacements as needed
• Transfers employees among units per staffing demands
• Completes performance evaluations and provides input on hiring, disciplining, or terminating staff
• Adjusts break schedules and resolves staff concerns
• Oversee unit operations during absence of higher-level management
• Use independent judgment in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
