Job summary

Mercy is hiring an RN Supervisor for the WEO Nights shift. The role involves planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating patient care in designated areas, acting as a clinical resource for staff and patients, and stepping in as staff nurse as needed.

Managerial duties may be delegated. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN license in the state, and 2–3 years of patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Two to three years’ experience in patient care.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
