Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required to practice as RN in Georgia.
• 3–5 years of RN experience in acute care required.
• Experience in critical care or emergency/trauma preferred.
• EPIC EMR platform proficiency required.
• Charge nurse or higher leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign all beds at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
• Evaluate, coordinate, process, screen, and document patient transfers.
• Collaborate with ED, inpatient units, surgical services to facilitate patient flow.
• Assess patients for appropriate level of care and bed placement.
• Liaise with supervisors, referring physicians, ED staff and administration.
