Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Bed Control/Transfer Center Registered Nurse (BCTC RN) to coordinate and assign beds and manage patient transfers with the ED, inpatient units, and physicians to ensure smooth patient flow.

Required are a BSN, 3–5 years of acute care RN experience, EPIC EMR proficiency, and Georgia RN licensure plus BCLS; leadership experience is preferred to support a high-performing team and optimize bed placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• 3–5 years of RN experience in an acute care setting required.
• EPIC EMR proficiency required; experience with critical care or emergency/trauma preferred.
• Georgia state RN licensure and BCLS certification required; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign beds at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital to optimize patient flow.
• Evaluate, coordinate, process, screen, and document transfers into PAH.
• Collaborate with ED, inpatient units, and physicians to ensure effective bed placement.
