Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Bed Control/Transfer Center Registered Nurse (BCTC RN) to coordinate and assign beds and manage patient transfers. The role requires collaboration with ED, inpatient units, and surgical services to ensure smooth patient flow and appropriate bed placement.

The BCTC RN must have a BSN and 3–5 years of acute care RN experience, with EPIC EMR proficiency and leadership capabilities preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• 3–5 years of RN experience in acute care is required.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required.
• Charge nurse or higher leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign beds at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital to optimize patient flow.
• Collaborate with physician offices, ED, inpatient units, surgical services and administration to facilitate patient care.
