Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Bed Control/Transfer Center Registered Nurse (BCTC RN) to coordinate and assign beds, and manage transfers into the hospital. The role requires collaborating with ED, inpatient units, physicians, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and appropriate bed placement.

Required BSN and 3–5 years of acute care RN experience, EPIC EMR proficiency, and Georgia RN licensure. BCLS is required; leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• 3–5 years RN experience in acute care required.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Charge nurse or higher leadership experience preferred.
• Georgia RN licensure and/or multistate licensure required.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign all beds at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
• Evaluate, coordinate, process, screen and document patient transfers into PAH.
• Collaborate with physician offices, ED, inpatient units, surgical services and procedural areas to facilitate patient flow and optimal bed placement.
