Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required within 3 years of hire or transfer.
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrated clinical leadership experience.
• PA RN license (or eNLC), CPR certification, and Act 34/33/73 clearances.

Responsibilities

• Model mission, vision, and values in areas of responsibility.
• Hold monthly unit conferences with minutes on activities.
• Complete annual performance appraisals with peer feedback.
• Promote unit-based shared governance and support staff during change.
• Plan activities to ensure patient care meets standards.
• Monitor performance in evidence-based practices and patient safety.
• Record feedback on patient or departmental concerns.
• Support financial plans with nurse manager.
• Coach, mentor, and educate staff development.
• Quarterly check-ins to review developmental goals.
