Responsibilities include staffing oversight, quality and patient-satisfaction data, leadership and communication, and coordination of care using the nursing process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or relevant experience/education in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• 3 years’ experience in a clinical specialty.
• Previous supervisory experience.

About This Role

The RN Clinical Supervisor for the 7A Neurovascular Telemetry Unit at Allegheny General Hospital is responsible for directing and providing professional nursing care, overseeing daily clinical operations, and serving as a clinical expert and role model for staff.

Highlights

• Location: Pittsburgh, PA
• Facility: Allegheny General Hospital
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift (7pm to 7am, rotating weekends and holidays)

Requirements

Education:

Experience:

• 3 years’ experience in clinical specialty preferred
• Previous supervisory experience preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
• CPR – American Heart Association certification required
