What You'll Do

• Role model mission, vision, and values within defined areas of responsibility.
• Conduct monthly unit conferences with minutes discussing unit and organizational activities.
• Complete annual performance appraisals on associates, including peer feedback.
• Promote unit-based shared governance and support staff in embracing change.
• Identify, plan, and implement activities ensuring patient care meets professional standards.
• Monitor departmental performance in evidence-based practices and patient safety goals.
• Investigate and provide feedback for identified patient or departmental concerns.
• Ensure effective implementation of financial plans in partnership with the nurse manager.
• Foster the development of staff through coaching, mentoring, and education.
• Conduct quarterly check-ins with assigned staff to review developmental goals.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required within 3 years of hire or transfer

Experience:

• 1 year of demonstrated clinical leadership experience

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
• CPR certification required
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances required
