Qualifications

• 5+ years RN experience in acute care.
• Prior leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Licensed and registered as a nurse in New York State.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient care units under the Nurse Manager.
• Schedule and staff for optimal unit resources.
• Coordinate shift activities for quality nursing care.
• Oversee admissions, transfers, discharges with leadership.
• Counsel staff on practice standards and performance.
• Support education of health care providers during shifts.
• Participate in evaluations and staff development
• Implement action plans for improvements
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration for patient outcomes
