Job summary

Hartford HealthCare (The Hospital of Central Connecticut) seeks an Assistant Nursing Manager (RN) to supervise patient care, clinical staff, and unit operations. You will manage daily operations, payroll, and scheduling while supporting performance improvement.

BSN is required; incumbents must obtain BSN within 3 years. Acute care experience and supervisory experience are preferred as part of leading a high-quality, family-centered care team.

Qualifications

• RN in nursing with active licensure in CT.
• BSN required; existing incumbents must obtain BSN within 3 years of March 1, 2024.
• 2 years of acute care nursing experience required.
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care, clinical personnel and unit operations.
• Oversee daily operations, payroll, and colleague scheduling.
• Support and lead Performance Improvement initiatives in the department.
• Collaborate with functional leadership to align with hospital strategy.
