Job summary

The Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to lead the unit in partnership with the Nursing Manager. You will plan, organize, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate patient care while overseeing fiscal, human resources, risk management, and operations.

Responsibilities include advancing care delivery models, ensuring compliance with nursing practice acts, fostering collaboration, and guiding staff development to sustain high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire
• 3+ years in acute care with leadership skills
• Ability to coordinate staffing for shifts
• Ability to supervise regular staff and float staff on shift

Responsibilities

• Develops and improves care delivery models to enhance patient/family, employee and provider satisfaction.
• Ensures compliance with nurse practice acts and regulatory standards.
• Fosters transparency, interdisciplinary collaboration, and accountability.
• Enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and services.
• Optimizes resource allocation to support objectives.
• Manages a multidisciplinary workforce to deliver compassionate care.
