The Manager assists the departmental leader in directing activities for patient care and provides direct professional nursing care in the assigned area in line with standards. Based at North Central Baptist Hospitals, this on-site leadership role supports collaboration with families, physicians, and staff.

The position emphasizes operational daily management and completion of required competencies during the introductory period.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Three years experience in acute care.
• Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
• Active healthcare provider BLS on hire; must have BLS within 60 days.
• ACLS/TNCC, PALS/ENPC, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., Fetal Monitoring and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention are required within timeframe.

Responsabilités

• Assist the departmental leader in managing and directing patient care activities.
• Provide direct professional nursing care to patients from newborn to geriatric.
• Serve as the departmental on-site manager for daily operations.
• Complete established competencies within designated introductory period.
