Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing RN to join our team. The ADON will supervise and evaluate nursing services, partner with the Director of Nursing, and ensure quality resident care in collaboration with medical staff and administration.

The role requires strong management skills, budgeting experience, and a current RN license with CPR certification. A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Nursing is required, with travel up to 10% possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license with the state.
• CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Review daily work assignments to ensure regulatory compliance and adequate staffing.
• Assist DON in managing nursing staff, scheduling breaks, and enforcing policies with HR guidance.
• Collaborate with physicians, DON, and Administrator on admissions, care plans, and budget planning.
• Ensure necessary equipment, supplies, and staffing for resident care.
• Manage nursing department budget and provide budgetary planning information.
• Plan staff development programs with DON and Administrator to improve care quality.
