Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to lead the nursing team at Villa at Green Lake Estates. The ADON partners with the DON to supervise, analyze, and evaluate nursing services, ensuring quality patient care and regulatory compliance across the facility.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR certification, and 3+ years of nursing/leadership experience; ADON preferred. Responsibilities include staffing oversight, budget management, and collaboration with administration

Qualifications

• Must have RN license in state.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Three years nursing/leadership experience; ADON preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review daily work assignments to ensure regulatory compliance and adequate staffing.
• Assist DON in daily management of nursing staff, scheduling breaks, and policy enforcement.
• Participate with Medical Consultants and Administrator in admissions decisions and resident needs assessment.
• Ensure physicians make visits as required.
• Ensure necessary equipment, supplies, and staffing are available for resident care.
• Manage the nursing department budget and provide budgetary planning information.
• Collaborate on staff development programs to enhance quality of care.
• Work with regional personnel to improve quality of resident care.
• Develop strategic plans to reduce unnecessary returns to acute care.
• Maintain and enforce Abuse & Neglect policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
