The role focuses on quality care, staff development, and a collaborative culture. Prior SNF leadership and infection prevention certification are valued for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) – active and in good standing in Florida.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting.
• Prior supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
• Commitment to resident-centered care and continuous improvement.
• Infection Preventionist Certification

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department.
• Support staff supervision, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.
• Oversee clinical quality measures, infection control, and documentation practices.
• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Provide ongoing staff education, mentoring, and leadership.

We’re currently seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team.

Position Summary:
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing the clinical operations and nursing staff within the facility. This role ensures high standards of nursing care, regulatory compliance, and staff development. The ADON plays a key leadership role in maintaining a culture of quality, compassion, and teamwork.
