Job summary

Villa at Green Lake Estates is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to lead the nursing team and uphold quality resident care in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and Administrator. The ADON supervises, analyzes, delegates, and evaluates nursing services to maintain standards and guide medical staff.

The role requires current RN licensure in Michigan, a nursing degree, CPR certification, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in Michigan.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Prefer previous nursing and leadership experience of at least three years; ADON preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate nursing staff; ensure quality patient care.
• Assist DON with daily staffing, scheduling breaks, reassignments, and policy enforcement.
• Collaborate on admissions planning and resident care needs.
• Ensure physicians visits are arranged and necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Manage nursing department budget and provide planning information.
• Develop staff development programs with DON and Administrator.
• Improve quality of resident/patient care with regional teams.
• Maintain Abuse & Neglect policies and enforce them.
