Job summary

FutureCare Associates, Inc. is seeking an RNAC—Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator/MDS to join our interdisciplinary nursing team. You will oversee the development and accurate completion of the MDS in line with current RAI processes and federal/state regulations.

This role partners with the IDT to monitor documentation, schedule MDS assessments, and evaluate Quality Measures. Maryland license (or Compact State) and 3+ years of MDS experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure to work in Maryland (Maryland or Compact State).
• 3+ years’ experience as an MDS Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator with ICD-10 coding.
• Progressive nursing experience in a resident assessment environment.
• Proficient understanding of PDPM and clinical documentation requirements.
• Ability to build positive relationships and work with an interdisciplinary team.
• In-depth experience with PDPM and CMI for Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and accurate completion of the MDS per RAI processes and federal/state rules.
• Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to monitor clinical documentation and MDS scheduling.
• Partner with IDT to evaluate Quality Measures.
• Review completed MDS for accuracy and address coding inconsistencies before locking.
