Job summary

Intersect Healthcare in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for part-time or full-time night shifts (6-6) to coordinate comprehensive nursing care in a long-term care setting. You will work with the Director of Nursing and Unit Managers to ensure policy compliance and quality resident care, including medical administration and documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a MI RN license, CPR certification, and has 2+ years in long-term care; strong communication, teamwork, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in the long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions to implement care plans and document observations.
• Make rounds with physician; monitor symptoms and adjust interventions as needed.
• Provide preventive, supportive, and rehabilitative care addressing physiologic and psychosocial needs.
• Administer medications and monitor for contraindications per policies and physician orders.
• Coordinate supplies, equipment, schedules, and referrals; maintain accurate records.
• Support CNAs and supervise resident care, ensuring safety and comfort.
