Job summary

IntersectHC is seeking a Registered Nurse for day shift in Grand Rapids, Michigan to coordinate total nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, monitor conditions, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing and unit managers to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident conditions to implement intervention and develop Care Plans.
• Regular rounds with physician; observe symptoms and reactions to treatments.
• Provide preventative, supportive, maintenance, and rehabilitative care.
• Administer medications according to policy and physician orders.
• Coordinate supplies, equipment, and appointments; document in records.
• Monitor CNA activities and assist with resident care duties.
