Responsibilities

• Support Regional Manager in daily operational activities across the region.
• Verify routes are started as scheduled to ensure service continuity.

• Support scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll tasks as delegated.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and compliance reviews as needed.

PositionOverview

The AssistantRegional Manager(ARM) supports the Regional Manager in the day-to-day operationaloversightofanassignedregion.Thisrolefocusesonexecution,coordination, monitoring, and follow-through on regional operational tasks to ensure continuity of service, compliance, and performance standards. The ARM acts as an extension of the Regional Manager and may assume delegated responsibilities in the Regional Manager’s absence.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperationalSupport&Oversight

• SupporttheRegional Managerindailyoperationalactivitiesacrossthe assigned region
• Assistwithensuringallroutes,drivers,andvehiclesareoperationalandproperly assigned
• Monitordailyscheduledvs.performedtripsandescalateissuesto theRegional Manager
• Verifyroutesarestartedasscheduledandensureservicecontinuity
• Assistwithoffsitevisits,spotchecks,anddriverinspectionsasdirected

Safety, Compliance & Risk Management

• AssisttheRegionalManagerandRiskManagerwithaccidentreporting, documentation, and follow-up
• Support retrieval of video footage, incident reports, and required documentation

• Review wheelchair securementphotosandcompliancedocumentationasassigned

Scheduling,Timekeeping&PayrollSupport

• Assistwith maintainingdriverschedulesandbalancinghoursevenly

• Identifytimecarddiscrepancies,missedpunches,orunassignedtimeandnotifythe RegionalManager
• Supportovertimemonitoringbyidentifyingtrendsandcontributingfactors
• VerifybreaktimesandcommutetimeusagealignwithRMSpolicy
• ConfirmdriversassignedtoroutesareproperlyclockedinandoutinADP

Fleet & Asset Coordination

• Assistwithensuringvehiclesarereturnedtoservicepromptlybycoordinatingwith maintenancevendors
• Support monitoring of van camera functionality, GPS data, and driver-to-vehicle assignments
• AssistwithfuelcardadministrationunderRegionalManagerdirection
• Helptrackissueduniforms,phones,andequipmentforregionalstaff

Employee Support & Administration

• Assistwithonboardingtasksasdelegated(uniforms,systemaccess,devicesetup)
• Supportemployeefilemaintenanceanddocumentationaccuracy

• Support communication with Regional Commissions and internal RMS departments
• Promote professionalism, responsiveness, and positive relationships within the region

Reporting & Documentation

• Helpmaintainorganizedandaccurateshared-drivefilestructures
• Ensuredocumentationisstoredcorrectlyandupdatedasrequired

Special Projects & Coverage

• Serve as acting Regional Manager when delegated or during absences, within defined authority limits
