Santander US is seeking an Associate, Risk Management to join the Second Line of Defense. You will assist the Business Control & Risk Management team to identify and assess risks, ensure adherence to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, and help with risk initiatives across the line of business.

The role requires partnering with stakeholders, conducting RCSA activities, monitoring KRIs/KPIs, and supporting internal control testing and remediation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of risk management, internal controls, or related functions.
• Experience leading risk projects across multiple business lines.
• Ability to work with internal/external service providers and manage resources.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and risk frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Identify and assess key risks and control effectiveness across the business line.
• Support RCSA activities including process mapping and control matrices.
• Monitor KRIs, KPIs, and remediation of issues to align with ERM framework.
• Coordinate exam materials and remediation with regulators and internal audits.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement risk indicators and governance.
