Job summary

You will collaborate with IT, CISO, Data Office, and Internal Audit to assess, challenge and report on risk exposure. Key focus areas include risk reviews, architecture assessments, risk reporting, and the evaluation of new products or projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of practitioner experience in technology or cybersecurity risk management.
• Strong understanding of FFIEC, FDIC, OCC requirements and frameworks (COBIT/ISO/NIST).
• Experience in highly regulated financial services environments and risk reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish second line of defense subject matter expertise on technology risk.
• Identify, assess and monitor technology risks with accountability.
• Design independent testing and assurance of technical domains.
• Participate in risk oversight of technology components in business initiatives.
• Evaluate new products/projects for technology risk impacts.
• Review third-party supplier risks in technology projects.
• Challenge first line risk management processes and outcomes.
• Analyze risk data to identify trends, drive automation and visualization.
• Support governance discussions on risk appetite, metrics and action plans.
• Advise on remediation of regulatory findings and track resolution.
• Prepare information for governance committees and escalate to leadership.
• Collaborate across lines of defense to manage risk within appetite.
