Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Risk Control Executive Consultant, CAG, to serve as a subject matter expert in risk assessment and loss control. You will independently consult with clients on high complexity risks across multiple industries and lines of coverage, contributing to the development of less experienced consultants.

Expect extensive travel, field inspections, and collaboration with underwriters to inform account selection and pricing decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental health and safety, construction management, basic sciences, or related technical field.
• Eight or more years of multiline risk control or risk management experience in the property and casualty insurance industry.
• Certification in one or more relevant industry recognitions or licenses such as ASP, ARM, CSP, CFPS, CIH, CPE, etc.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent field presence with clients (20%–50% travel).
• Conduct technically detailed risk assessments of high complexity.
• Apply expert consultative skills to implement risk control measures.
• Mentor and coach less experienced consultants.
• Review and sign off on risk assessments requiring advanced expertise.
