Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Risk Control professional to develop and oversee risk control services for accounts nationwide, with-on site visits and travel as needed. You will market and deliver strategies to reduce loss potential, work with underwriting, and drive client satisfaction through data-driven risk assessments.

The ideal candidate has five years in risk control, a valid driver’s license, and relevant certifications; a bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in safety, risk control/management or related field.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet state-specific certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain field presence with 20%–50% onsite travel to customers.
• Consult with clients on hazard identification and risk control delivery.
• Analyze losses to identify trends and tailor risk control plans.
• Negotiate client expectations balancing service and cost.
• Write detailed risk assessments and recommendations for underwriting.
• Collaborate with underwriting, brokers and risk control teams.
