Job summary

This role requires deep experience in internal/external audit, IT risk, enterprise risk management, and SOX, with a track record of new business development. Travel will be required to serve clients across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA, CIA or equivalent designation(s) required.
• Twelve (12)+ years of experience with risk advisory, internal/external audit, business process reengineering, and/or internal controls, with internal audit experience preferred.
• Seven (7)+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
• Successful track record of building and growing a Risk Advisory practice, including building a team, a client base and managing revenue.
• Proven track record of new business development.
• Ability to travel as needed for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management and strategic direction with a focus on providing an exceptional client service experience.
• Translate firm vision and strategy into an actionable business plan, provide specific objectives to be accomplished and monitor progress.
• Team with marketing to develop sales and marketing plans, pursue expansion of services within existing client base and pursue new clients.
• Coordinate firm resources to ensure the best products and services are provided to clients.
• Ensure your team members are provided with meaningful training and development opportunities, timely feedback and recognition.
• Oversee the profitability of the practice including utilization of personnel and timely collection of fees.
• Work closely with client executives to understand their businesses and manage risks within their systems.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of clients' businesses and industries through direct client interaction on multiple engagements.
• Provide strategic business advice and help implement new processes and controls addressing key risks.
• Assess and manage risk across ERM and SOX compliance.
• Review clients' processes and controls against industry frameworks and communicate issues to clients.
• Be responsible for significant new business development, including sourcing and winning opportunities.
• Produce executive summaries and final reports for delivery to clients per internal audit methodologies.
• Act as a trusted advisor, build relationships and deliver superior client service.
• Lead professional and effective presentations to internal and external audiences.
