Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or related program.
• CPA, CIA or equivalent designation(s) required.
• 12+ year(s) experience with risk advisory, internal/external audit, business process reengineering, and/or internal controls, with internal audit experience in the technology, real estate, life sciences, financial services or healthcare preferred.
• Seven (7)+ year(s) of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
• Successful track record of building and growing a Risk Advisory practice, including building a team, a client base and managing revenue.
• Proven track record of new business development.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects.
• Ability to travel as needed for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for risk advisory services.
• Translate firm vision and strategy into an actionable business plan, provide specific objectives to be accomplished and monitor progress.
• Lead marketing to develop sales and marketing plans, pursue opportunities within existing clients and new clients, and participate in proposals.
• Coordinate firm resources to ensure the best products and services are provided to clients.
• Ensure team members receive training and development opportunities and timely feedback.
• Oversee profitability including utilization of personnel and timely fee collection.
• Engage with client executives to identify and manage financial and operational risks.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of clients' businesses through direct interaction on engagements.
• Provide strategic recommendations for improvements based on client operations and objectives.
• Assist in implementing new processes and controls to address key risks.
• Assess and manage risk across ERM and SOX/compliance areas.
• Review client processes against industry frameworks and communicate recommendations.
• Lead new business development and client engagement opportunities.
• Produce executive summaries and final reports for client delivery.
