Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Risk Advisory Services Principal in the United States. You will lead a National Practice, provide leadership, set strategic direction, and deliver exceptional client service while guiding associates toward growth and profitability.

The role requires deep risk and internal controls knowledge, strong business development skills and the ability to work with client executives across industries. Some travel will be required to support engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or related program.
• CPA, CIA, or equivalent designation(s) required.
• 10+ years in risk advisory, audit, and internal controls; Life Sciences auditing preferred.
• 5+ years supervisory experience mentoring and counseling associates.
• Proven track record in building and growing a Risk Advisory practice.
• Proven new business development track record.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management and strategic direction with a focus on exceptional client service.
• Translate firm vision into an actionable business plan and monitor progress.
• Team with marketing to develop sales plans, pursue new clients and proposals.
• Coordinate firm resources to ensure best products and services for clients.
• Oversee profitability and effective utilization of personnel and rates.
• Interact with client executives to identify and manage financial and operational risks.
