Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Risk Advisory Services Principal to lead a national practice, providing risk, governance, and IT assurance services. You will guide engagements, manage client relationships, and drive growth across industries.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, team leadership, and developing new business opportunities while ensuring quality and compliance across engagements. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or related program
• CPA, CIA or equivalent designation(s) required
• Twelve (12)+ year(s) experience with risk advisory, internal/external audit, business process reengineering, and/or internal controls, with internal audit experience in the technology, real estate, life sciences, financial services or healthcare preferred
• Seven (7)+ year(s) of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
• Successful track record of building and growing a Risk Advisory practice, including building a team, a client base and managing revenue
• Proven track record of new business development
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects.
• Ability to travel as needed for client engagements

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage risk advisory engagements and client relationships
• Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the risk advisory practice
• Oversee staffing, budgets and project profitability
• Provide strategic business advice and process improvement recommendations
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
