Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Risk Advisory Services Principal to lead engagements, guide strategy, and deliver exceptional client service. You will work with senior leadership to shape services, manage risk programs, and drive sustained growth across industries.

This role requires deep experience in risk advisory, internal audit, and SOX controls, plus a proven record of building teams and winning new business. Travel to client sites will be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or CIA designation is required or preferred.
• Twelve (12)+ years of experience in risk advisory, internal/external audit, and related fields.
• Seven (7)+ years of supervisory experience with mentoring and client service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for risk advisory engagements with a focus on exceptional client service.
• Develop and pursue new business opportunities and nurture client relationships.
• Lead and mentor teams, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality work.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to executive clients and stakeholders, including proposals and executive summaries.
