Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Risk Advisory Services Principal to lead a national practice. You will guide risk assessment, IT and cybersecurity risk engagements, and governance improvements while growing the client base and service offerings.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, team leadership, and high-level client advisory across multiple industries. Travel as needed to serve national clients is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• 12+ years in risk advisory, internal/external audit or related areas.
• Experience with governance, risk management, and SOX controls is preferred.
• Proven ability to build and lead a risk advisory practice and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the risk advisory practice.
• Develop business plans, set objectives, and monitor progress.
• Lead proposals and pursue new client opportunities in the market.
• Oversee profitability, staffing, and fee collection for engagements.
• Advise clients on risk, governance, IT and cybersecurity best practices.
• Present to executives and manage multi-engagement client relationships.
• Drive growth by expanding service lines and client base.
