Job summary

HUB International Limited is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to support commercial lines accounts, handle certificates of insurance, policy changes and client payments, and assist with renewals. You will help with audits, proposals and carrier interactions while maintaining organized client files.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in insurance and a Property & Casualty license within six months. This role emphasizes accurate service and strong communication across teams and clients.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years insurance industry experience or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Property & Casualty License required within first 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist Account Management with all aspects of the account-service process.
• Respond to policy inquiries via phone and email.
• Handle certificates of insurance, policy changes and client payments.
• Participate in renewal preparation, including renewal updates.
• Assist with marketing clients to carriers.
• Assist with coordinating premium financing and collection of premiums.
• Check policies/endorsements and audits for accuracy.
• Prepare quotes and proposals.
• Provide professional, courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, partners and HUB colleagues.
