Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to provide high-level support for commercial lines accounts. You will handle certificates of insurance, policy changes, renewal information, and client presentations, while meeting daily production standards.

You will work closely with the Account Management team to ensure accurate documentation, timely responses to inquiries, and coordinated premium financing and payments. A proactive, client-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years insurance industry experience or equivalent.
• Property & Casualty license within first 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Account Management team with all aspects of the account-service process.
• Responds to policy inquiries via phone and email.
• Manages service work including certificates of insurance, policy changes, and client payments.
• Participates in renewal preparation and generates renewal updates.
• Assists with marketing clients to carriers.
• Coordinates premium financing and collection of premiums.
• Checks policies/endorsements and audits for accuracy.
• Prepares quotes and proposals.
• Delivers professional, courteous service to clients, carriers, underwriters, and colleagues.
• Maintains accurate and organized account files and updates systems.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
