Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Account Manager II to handle a more complex book of insurance, delivering professional service to clients, carriers and colleagues. You may work independently or with a Producer to grow and renew accounts, ensuring client advocacy and adherence to broker standards.

The role involves renewing processes, negotiating terms with underwriters, and producing accurate proposals and binders while maintaining strong relationships and records through collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required and active P&C license.
• 2–5+ years in insurance brokerage/account management preferred.
• CE credits up-to-date for required lines/states; advanced designation desired.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day client needs: calls, email, policy questions, payments, changes.
• Execute client renewal processes: updates, marketing, terms, pricing, invoicing.
• Review quotes to ensure coverage requirements are included.
• Maintain client relationships and delegate tasks to junior staff as needed.
• Liaise with underwriters, negotiate coverage, and ensure accurate binders.
• Prepare proposals, bind coverage, and create client policy summaries.
• Set up and maintain electronic records; follow broker standards.
• Collaborate with team and educate on coverage and exposures.
• Other duties as assigned.
