Job summary

Modular Mission Critical, part of M.C. Dean, is hiring for a Rigging 1 role at our Richmond-area facility. You will perform routine rigging, select gear, follow lift instructions, and ensure safe lifts for complex data center and critical infrastructure projects.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, SGP and RIG-I certifications, and the ability to travel up to 75%. You will inspect gear, perform pre-use checks, and communicate clearly with the crew while adhering to approved methods.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with relevant rigging experience.
• Certified SGP signalperson and RIG-I certifications required.
• Employer rigging qualification and equipment qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review rigging instructions, verify loads, and select appropriate gear.
• Inspect gear, perform pre-use checks, and replace defective equipment.
• Direct lift operations with clear signals and ensure safe, controlled movements.
