Qualifikationen

• Requires at least a high school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience or equivalent training.
• Must hold CCO Signalperson (SGP) certification.
• Must hold CCO RIG-I certification.
• Demonstrated qualification for rigging duties as required by the job.

Aufgaben

• Review lift instructions including weight, center of gravity, and rigging configurations.
• Establish exclusion zones, verify crew positions, signals, and travel-route clearance.
• Perform pre-use inspections of rigging gear and remove defective equipment from service.
• Select rigging that matches load, hitch, environment, and capacity.
• Use charts to account for sling angles and verify connections meet load requirements.
• Build standard rigging hitches and ensure proper seating and edge protection.
• Conduct controlled test lifts to confirm balance and braking before de-rigging.
• Provide standard hand or radio signals for lifts and stop when signals are unclear.
• Guide loads along planned routes while controlling swing and ensuring stability on landing.
