Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience or equivalent training.
• CCO Signalperson certification required.
• CCO RIG‑I certification required.
• Employer practical qualification for rigging duties documented.

Responsibilities

• Review routine lift instructions, weights, CG, and rigging points.
• Establish exclusion zones and verify crew positions and paths.
• Perform pre‑use inspections of rigging gear and remove defective equipment.
• Select routine rigging matching load, hitch, and environment.
• Conduct controlled test lifts to verify balance and safe operation.
• Communicate status and signals; guide loads through planned routes.
