Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Rigging Helper at our Richmond-area modular mission critical site to support qualified rigging personnel and crane crews. The role emphasizes safe load handling, gear preparation, and adherence to site procedures while working under supervision.

You will assist with rigging tasks, observe safety protocols, and learn to advance toward Rigging 1 through training and on-site practice, with travel up to 75% as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow verbal radio and hand-signal directions clearly.
• Work outdoors at heights and around moving equipment in demanding field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-task and pre-lift briefings and confirm task details.
• Locate and stage slings, hooks, and support gear as directed.
• Assist with routing slings, installing hardware, padding edges, and securing loads.
